Emmanuel Lutheran Church

Medical equipment that is donated to the church, such as crutches, canes, walkers, bedside commodes and tray tables, are loaned to those who need them (wheelchairs are no longer carried). Emmanuel's Clothes Closet receives donations of clean, serviceable clothing and small household items, sorts it, and distributes it to those who need it.

Faith in Action

Faith in Action distributes donated clothing and household goods to anyone free of charge. Individuals can shop at the FIA Clothing Room every two weeks up to 12 times each year, 3 grocery bags of items/visit.

 

There is also a Free Medical Equipment Closet where donated durable medical equipment is made available to anyone who needs it on an as-needed basis.

Friends In Deed accepts donations of used furniture and passes it on for free to families in need. To receive furniture, they will need a copy of front page of resident’s

Hope Clinic provides personal care items and household cleaning supplies that can be obtained during a food bank appointment or on a walk-in basis in emergency situations.

Kiwanis Thrift Sale West

Over 60,000 square feet of indoor, outdoor, and business furniture, sports & exercise, toys, kitchen & household, recreation, decorating, collecting, seasonal, electronics, books, jewelry, lamps, luggage, office supplies, dishes, clothing, and more.


Eligible households are identified through human service agencies in Washtenaw County for the Kiwanis Voucher Program. Families can shop with a trained representative to spend their vouchers on household items during certain times of the week.
