The first step toward better hearing is a hearing assessment. Visit your local Beltone office and get a complimentary hearing screening and consultation with one of our hearing care professionals.

Medical equipment that is donated to the church, such as crutches, canes, walkers, bedside commodes and tray tables, are loaned to those who need them (wheelchairs are no longer carried). Emmanuel's Clothes Closet receives donations of clean, serviceable clothing and small household items, sorts it, and distributes it to those who need it.

Faith in Action distributes donated clothing and household goods to anyone free of charge. Individuals can shop at the FIA Clothing Room every two weeks up to 12 times each year, 3 grocery bags of items/visit.

There is also a Free Medical Equipment Closet where donated durable medical equipment is made available to anyone who needs it on an as-needed basis.

Friends In Deed accepts donations of used furniture and passes it on for free to families in need. To receive furniture, they will need a copy of front page of resident’s

lease, proof of residency, and proof of income. You will speak with them and they will ask you to fax it over to (734) 484-5335.

Habitat for Humanity sells used furniture, appliances, building materials, tools, lighting, new and used floor coverings, home decorations, and painting supplies.

HearUSA provides free hearing screenings, audiology services, and sells hearing aids to those who are hard of hearing.

Hope Clinic provides personal care items and household cleaning supplies that can be obtained during a food bank appointment or on a walk-in basis in emergency situations.

The organization also provides emergency diapers, wipes, baby food, and formula as available. The walk-in hours are Thursdays from 2:00 – 4:00 pm—no appointment necessary.

The House by the Side of the Road offers used household items for free to those in need, no referrals needed.

Over 60,000 square feet of indoor, outdoor, and business furniture, sports & exercise, toys, kitchen & household, recreation, decorating, collecting, seasonal, electronics, books, jewelry, lamps, luggage, office supplies, dishes, clothing, and more.

Eligible households are identified through human service agencies in Washtenaw County for the Kiwanis Voucher Program. Families can shop with a trained representative to spend their vouchers on household items during certain times of the week.

This organization provides hearing and vision screening services to children and adults and provides assistance with obtaining hearing aids and eyeglasses.

PhRMA’s Medicine Assistance Tool (MAT) is a search engine designed to help patients, caregivers and health care providers learn more about the resources available through the various biopharmaceutical industry programs. MAT is not its own patient assistance program, but rather a search engine for many of the patient assistance resources that the biopharmaceutical industry offers.

This practice provides hearing tests, hearing aids and assistive technology, and rehabilitative therapies.They also offer Walk-In Hearing Aid checkup and cleaning between 9am-11am and 1:30pm-3:00pm daily either for free or for a small charge.

This program offers grants for the installation of exterior ramps to homes occupied by low income persons, in order to improve the accessibility of their home.Manufactured homes are eligible for this program on a case-by-case basis. Washtenaw County residents only.

Helps eligible underinsured patients afford the copayments for pharmaceutical treatment

for 60 different diseases.

The SOS Resource Center offers emergency food and fresh produce, food for seniors through partnership with FOCUS HOPE, utility assistance, bus tokens and Fare Deal application assistance, access to computers and phones, housing information, personal care items, baby items, referrals to other resources, MI Bridges Assistance.

Saline Area Social Services provides personal items such as eyeglasses, backpacks, bicycles, children’s musical instruments, and supplies, among other services. Families must reside within the Saline Area School District.

The Salvation Army Thrift Shop sells affordable goods.

Second Baptist Church distributes household goods, small appliances, clothes, and books on Fridays at 11:30am.
