FTM A2/Ypsi

FTM A2/Ypsi is a support group by and for trans-masculine and non-binary folks in Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, and the greater Southeast Michigan region. They are open to all trans-masculine, non-binary, and questioning folks who are 16 years of age or older.


They currently host weekly support meetings and once-monthly social meetings over Zoom every Monday from 7:00 pm-8:30 pm. Message their Facebook page for the Zoom link.

Jim Toy Community Center

The Jim Toy Community Center is a resource center that exists to provide information, education, social events, and advocacy by and for the Queer and Ally community in the Washtenaw County area. 


JTCC welcomes all who support its mission to participate in its activities. The center offers regular peer groups for LGBTQ+ individuals. Find more information on their Facebook page.

LGBT National Help Center

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) National Help Center, founded in 1996, is an organization that provides vital peer-support, community connections and resource information to people with questions regarding sexual orientation and/or gender identity. 


Utilizing a diverse group of LGBT volunteers, we operate three national hotlines, the LGBT National Hotline, the LGBT National Youth Talkline, and the LGBT National Senior Hotline as well as private, volunteer one-to-one online chat, that helps both youth and adults with coming-out issues, safer-sex information, school bullying, family concerns, relationship problems and a lot more.

Neutral Zone

The Neutral Zone is a diverse, youth-driven teen center dedicated to promoting personal growth through artistic expression, community leadership and the exchange of ideas. They offer weekly Riot Youth sessions for teens who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community Fridays 4:00 pm-6:00 pm.

Out Loud Chorus

Out Loud Chorus is a non-auditioned community chorus. Most of their members identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and/or queer, but there is no test and they are open to all who consider themselves allies of the LGBTQ+ community. Really it is all about having fun and working hard together to make good music and put on a great show. And their practice MP3s and sectional rehearsals help with learning the notes for those who don't read music.

Ozone House

Ozone House offers crisis intervention for youth; an emergency shelter (SafeStay) for homeless youth or youth needing to get away from a conflict at home, job-training; and school support for homeless and high-risk youth. They also have a drop-in center for youth 13-20 where they can eat a hot meal, use the shower or laundry, hang out in a safe place, and get help. Their services are safe for all youth, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression.


PrideZone is a social and support group for youth ages 13-20 who identify as LGBTQ+. It is a safe place to socialize, build community, have fun in an open & queer space, and access support services. PrideZone also hosts events and social outings.

PFLAG Ann Arbor

PFLAG provides support, information and resources for LGBTQ+ people, their parents and families, and allies.


PFLAG Ann Arbor builds and supports a community of loving families united with LGBTQ+ people and allies who promote the health and well-being of the community, which includes all sexual and gender minority populations, their families, and allies.


Group support is available at their virtual monthly meetings, the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm via Zoom. Please email them for the meeting link. In-person meetings occur quarterly at Ozone house the third Thursday of March, June, September, and December at 6:00 pm.

Transgender Legal Defense and Educational Fund

Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund's mission is to end discrimination and achieve equality for transgender people, particularly those in our most vulnerable communities. Their Name Change Project provides pro bono legal name change services to community members through partnerships with some of nation's premier law firms and corporate law departments.
