The Ann Arbor PTO Thrift Shop is a nonprofit thrift shop providing low cost clothing and other items. Proceeds go to Parent-Teacher organizations in the Ann Arbor Public School District.

The Ann Arbor Thrift Shop provides emergency social service aid through the sale of donated gently used clothing, housewares and other items.

Ann Arbor residents can get clothing for free, but a phone referral is required. The Thrift Shop will also help Community Mental Health clients with miscellaneous costs, as well, but a referral is also required.

House by the Side of the Road’s purpose is to provide adequate clothing and small household items at no charge to children and adults. These services are free to clients with limited funds for clothing, bedding, and other household essentials. People come in after family breakup, job loss, fire, or prolonged illness. We also serve those who are homeless, those who are just reentering society from prison, people with mental health issues, recent immigrants, and migrant workers.

Founded in 1942, the Thrift Shop of Ypsilanti is a resale store, selling items generously donated by people in our community. In turn, we donate all profits to local area charities.

The Thrift Shop of Ypsilanti has reasonably priced clothing and may also help out with other emergency costs for clients of Community Mental Health.
